Northwest is a safe, welcoming place to grow with others in Christ.
Sunday School Groups | 9:30am
These Sunday groups are open to guests weekly. Sunday groups are a great place to build genuine relationships and find encouragement in the faith. Sharing life together in community around the Word of God is the goal of these groups
NW holds a family-style meal together after church about once a quarter. Members and guests break bread with one another. Guests are encouraged to join us.
The most vital step in the Christian walk is confessing Christ as Lord. Many people find strength to begin to grow in Christ through the small Sunday School group experience. For those who begin to grow and experience joy in church, the Lord may lead them onward to consider membership.
Two membership sessions are offered on Sunday mornings about once a quarter. Topics covered are essential beliefs, the gospel, missions, leadership, stewardship, and community. Most importantly, these membership sessions provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and get to know others.
Disciples on Mission | 5:30pm
In the fall and spring semesters, mostly on Sunday evenings, for 10-12 weeks, one-on-one and group discipleship opportunities are offered. These are both devotional and missional in practice. Participants utilize the gifts the Lord has given as they serve the church and/or community.
And Throughout the Week
The Women of Grace Women's ministry is an opportunity to grow alongside other women at all stages of life. You can learn and gain support while you disciple others and offer your own experiences. The Women of Grace support our community and our congregation in a number of ways throughout the year.
Men's Bible Study
Men are invited to gather together each Wednesday evening in the Chapel to grow together in fellowship and study.
The Worship Choir meets for practice most Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm in the Worship Choir room or worship center. The theme verse of the team is John 4:23, “…true worshipers will worship the Father in sprit and in truth; for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers.”
